The president manages the fate of the club and represents the DDC in cooperation with other associations and organizations in Germany and abroad. She is the contact person for breeding and performance matters and organizes the breeder seminars. She is also Show Director of the Club Winner Shows and Special Director at the DDC-supervised ES-BS-GW and Annual Trophy Shows.

The breed warden is the contact person for all breeders in the DDC. He is chairman of the breeding committee and regulates all breeding concerns of the club, manages and keeps the studbooks, displays pedigrees and keeps all statistics about the breed. He is contact person for all entitlements and other titles, looks after the puppy portal, is HUS contact point and keeps the breeder and kennel database. His duties also include the preparation and implementation of breeder seminars in collaboration with the breeding committee. He is responsible for the management of a cash register for all breed relevant funds.

Our secretary handles the written tasks and business affairs of the club. She is responsible for the online show calendar and for the care of the breeder and stud dog list. She has the editorial board of the uDD, is the webmaster of the DDC and leads the editorial board.
