Data protection information on data processing and use according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

We would like to inform you that the data provided by you in your application for membership about your personal and material circumstances (so-called personal data) is stored on data processing systems and processed and used for administrative purposes.
Responsible body is the Great Dane Club 1888 e.V., represented by the President Regina Bachmann, Auf der Heckenbrede 10a, 59597 Erwitte.

The membership in the club is a contractual relationship between the members and the club, whose contractual content is essentially determined by the articles of the club and it’s regulations. These determine the Club goals for which the member data are used. The statutes can be viewed at any time.

Your personal data provided in the application form are required for the purpose of implementing the contractual relationship and are collected on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
A transmission of parts of this data to the respective provincial group and local groups takes place in the context of the purposes stipulated in the statutes. These data transfers are necessary for the purpose of member administration between the main club, the provincial groups and the local groups. The data processing also includes the factual relationships with the dog in the form of exhibitions, exams or other events.

By your membership and the associated recognition of the statutes and regulations, the members also agree to the publication of images and names in print and telemedia as well as electronic media of the club, as far as this corresponds to the statutory tasks and purposes of the club.

Please note that our websites are also accessible to search engines. You must therefore expect that your name and image can also be found by search engines and stored there or elsewhere. Consequently, we can not rule out that your photo remains otherwise available even after deletion by us.

Targeted transfer of your personal data to a so-called third country is not planned; Nevertheless, it is of course not excluded from our web pages that these are also accessed from countries that do not have an adequate level of data protection.

We store and process your photo data and information up to a revocation of your consent or a contradiction against the use of the data in print documents.

The GDPR commits us to inform you about the use and processing of your personal data.

We assure you to treat your personal data confidentially and not to pass it on to third parties, unless the Deutsche Doggen Club 1888 e.V. (DDC) is legally obliged to do so. You have the right, upon request, to obtain information about your personal data stored here. Furthermore, in accordance with the statutory provisions, you have the right to correct, limit the processing and deletion of your personal data. You may object to the processing of your data by us at any time and without stating reasons. The objection has no retroactive effect. It is to be addressed to the Deutsche Doggen Club 1888 e.V. In the event of your objection, you may not be able to use our services, or only to a limited extent. Exercising your membership rights can be made more difficult or even impossible.
A deletion of the personal data takes place after three years after termination of the membership, as far as for the fulfillment of the statutory purposes no longer storage is necessary and no legal regulations provide a longer storage period.

You have the right to complain to a regulator.
